Spring project

Doesn't this yarn have the perfect colour to work with in Spring? It's Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in the colourway Fragrant. I started this project on Friday and can't put it down. Only ran into a few problems at the beginning because I'm doing a construction I don't normally do so it involved some trial and error and frogging. I'm planning to use as much of this skein as I can for the body of the shawl and ordered another colourway for the border. I hope they will be a good match. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

I took a few pictures before it started to rain...

I took a few pictures of my new shawl yesterday before it started to rain... and then snow. Luckily, the flakes melted as soon as they hit the ground. It's mid March, I want Spring :)
