I will release my 100th pattern tomorrow. When I started publishing my designs back in 2011, I could only dream of the day when I can write this sentence down. Now that I have reached this milestone, I am truly grateful to everyone who helped me along the way.
Tomorrow (October 16), I will not only release my 100th pattern, I will also give away 100 patterns in the form of 100 coupon codes. The codes will be posted from 8am to 5pm at irregular intervals on facebook, instagram and ravelry.

Pattern writing Wednesday

I'm almost ready with the body so I started writing up the pattern before I forget what I did. It happened in the past that I got carried away and ended up reverse-engineering my own stuff. A waste of time, really. It's better to take more notes than be sorry afterwards!

Shawleidoscope 2 ist eine neue Kollektion, bei der die Farben im Fokus stehen. Hier können die perfekten Anleitungen für Garne mit kurzem oder langem Farbverlauf leicht gefunden werden. Dazu Anleitungen, die einladen mit Farben zu spielen und Lieblingskombinationen zu finden. Einige Tücher sind one size, bei anderen Fällen lässt sich die Grösse auswählen. Eine der Anleitungen gibt sogar eine fast unendliche Anzahl von Möglichkeiten: nicht nur die Grösse des Tuchs und die Anzahl der benutzten Farben, sondern auch Reihenfolge und Länge der einzelnen Strickmuster kann bestimmt werden.

I'm back

Things have been a bit slow here in the past couple of months, I only released two new patterns last year. However, my daughter is a big girl now, fifteen months old, and slowly but surely, I seem to have more opportunities and brains to work than before. I have tons of ideas and hopefully, they will become projects and then patterns soon. I'll show you a few of them.
My newest shawl in the making, I know you can't see much yet but I'll bring more pictures soon I promise. I got a couple of skeins from Cascade Yarns many months ago to swatch and I finally have the time to start working with them. I guess this is going to be a fairly large swatch.

Dieser wunderschöne Strang (Siidegarte Siide-Fideel) kam von dem Swiss Wulle Festival mit mir nach Hause. Und ich konnte fast zwei Wochen widerstehen, bevor ich ihn einfach anstricken musste.
